William Jackson has a very deep connection within the art world.
Born and raised in Detroit Michigan, and coming from a family of artist -
that creative gene has been no doubt transferred and graphed itself
unto William as a child.
As William grew into a young adult, he then noticed - having an ear for
music, while listening to the local radio personality "MOJO" from WGPR,
the love of music took flight. Starting out in the underground scene in the
early 80's - House Music was just becoming excepted as a way to escape
for most young teenagers in the urban cityscape of Detroit, and William
was no exception. Following his mentor Derrick May, Kevin Sandersen,
Carl Craig, along with Larry Heard (from the Chicago based group "Mr. Fingers" ,
William began learning the unique skills of DJing.
While DJing throughout High School during the 80's, William decided to
further his education south of the Mason Dixie line in Atlanta Georgia,
graduating in the early 90's. William stayed in Atlanta but not in the music
industry... "At the time I graduated from college my mind was more leaning
towards the visual arts, so I bought my first camera, and starting doing Fashion
Photography. But, music was always there, whether on a shoot or just listening
to it, I never left the platform of one day wanting to actually create the very
sounds I would hear other people create".
After being a major contributor in the Fashion world as a gifted Photographer,
William took a five year leave of absence from the Fashion world at
the turn of the century (2001). Resurfacing again in 2005, William once
again surprised the art community of Atlanta with his Directorial debut
of his first documentary "Hollow Point", becoming one of the best NEW
entries at the Atlanta Black Film Festival in 2006, and William would later
comment "that was a strange point in my life because artistically I was
still trying to find my way. When Hollow Point was being shown in Atlanta,
I was in London on a Photo Assignment. I gotten word via email from close
friends saying they just viewed my documentary".
William have relocated to Germany and now producing his own expression
of House Music and Techno Trance. Along with DJing throughout Europe.

Em3 Digital stands for "eMotion Media 3 Documentaries". I added the "Digital"
after I started a production company (Bug Powder Beats International)
and a House Music/Minimal/Trance group by the name "The Norma Clayture Institute"
and bringing all into one which is "em3digital". I'm trying to create a
brand that covers the visual and auditory/sound art, to bridge an emotional
connection through the human senses is a work of art all unto itself. I can
